About Ike

IkeAs founder of 360 Physical Therapy, it has been Ike's purpose in life to provide healing care to those who have been injured and in pain. Ike's dream of becoming a physical therapist first emerged his freshman year in high school. Ike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy & physiology and a Master of Science degree in Physical therapy from Andrews University. Since graduating from physical therapy school in 1992, Ike has worked consistently to expand his knowledge and expertise. He has had extensive training in electrotherapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and shortwave diathermy. His experience with tissue healing has given him the knowledge to establish an effective pain flare-up plan based on the stages of tissue healing.

One of Ike's numerous mottos is: "if you take care of your heart, your heart will take care of you!" In other words, if you take care of your cardiovascular system, you will be happier and healthier. For this reason, Ike strives to incorporate a cardiovascular program and promote life-long fitness and wellness with all of his patients.

In order to help you achieve decreased pain, increased flexibility, increased strength, and increased function, you will find that Ike will utilize an eclectic approach to customizing a therapy for you. You can be assured that he will use a multitude of manual therapy approaches such as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), muscle energy mobilization, and Strain Counter Strain to speed your recovery. Ike's knowledge of the human body, his experience working as a therapist since 1992, and his most recent work with Dr. Edward Goering in learning and advancing his skills in Strain Counter Strain, has positioned him to be the ideal therapist to help you achieve your therapy goals and to help you come "full circle" and back on your feet again.

As you can see, Physical Therapy is Ike's number one passion. Outside of physical therapy, Ike loves spending time with those he loves: his family, friends, and church members. Ike's other passions include flying, funning, paintball, volleyball, tennis, hiking, backpacking, and camping. Ike also enjoys skiing and has the ambition to become a Mount Hood Ski Patroller.
